Realisticly shields will not work in any kind of super strenht situation because what holds you in place is not your strenght but your weight unless you have claws on your feet and can burrow them into the earth any kind of attack that has more force than gravity that is acting on you will send you flying like a cannonball its not just monster hunter but even other scenarions like capitan america blocking a car it doesen't matter that he is a super soldier there is nothing keeping him stuck to the ground

ESO wins in: combat, exploration, choices & complexity of quests, evergreen content (the WHOLE GAME is evergreen content. YOU CAN DO TRIALS(raids) AT LEVEL 3), community FFXIV wins in: story, cutscenes... basically all the things final fantasy is normally good at is good in FFXIV but you're seriously missing out by not playing ESO yet. FFXIV is good every time there's an update, but then it's bad once you've done all the content. ESO the same content can feel very rewarding with your time spent.

Its not the worst, but it's def not the best. Its somewhere between the middle of the two.

tbh, addons are not neccecery, but i would love for the UI to be way more customizable, as a healer i would love to be abel to adjust the sice on the buff i put on players ( shield etc. ) also the chat window is to big would love to make it much smaller.

The music is absolutely amazing, the MSQ felt very tropey and very campy to me… like it’s supposed to be this epic fantasy/cyberpunk adventure but parts just felt so over the top that it read more as Power Rangers fanfic meets high fantasy multicultural setting. It’s fun but I didn’t get any deep emotional attachment to the story or the characters, which to be fair I don’t expect from an MMO. MMOs are about the stories you have with friends in the game.

This is the reason why I create my own session every single time and I don't join anyone else's so I can set the rules. As soon as someone badmouths another player in the session - kick! If someone has a toxic shoutout when someone dies - kick! Simple.

Quin made all WoW players look bad. Made them look like people who only know how to stand and hit and couldnt recognise a video game mechanic if it stepped on their feet. Which is something I learned was pretty accurate to classic WoW. I've put over 80 levels of gameplay into Wotlc and it's been almost entirely just stand and hit. If you've never played any games in your life it's fine, but if you want interacting gameplay with mechanics it's unbelievably dull and boring.

These guys need more followers than any youtuber, they created gaming! Because of them i played cs as a kid, played wow. Played all these games. Just wanna say thanks for a fun and social (lan parties, internet gaming cafés) life growing up!

I place to LVL 70 and think it's quite bad, actually. Characters are so one dimensional it feels like its made for babies IMO. I think so many aspects of the game were way below expectations, i cant justify spending any more money on these scammers..

Every quest in ESO being voice acted even if its just a insignificant little side quest beats the heck out of the hundreds of hours of glorified fetch quests that ff14 sends you on. Ff14 is such a slog

I am happy to see this interview, but you come across as kind of rude. You keep talking about how this won't get views because you're talking about an old web series and being WAY too blunt about not liking the TV show. I'm sure none of that made Geoff feel good. I'm not saying you should lie, but have some tact and be accommodating to your guest. And don't go on about the size of your channel, etc. It's just not a good look for an interview where the focus should be on the guest. Geoff and the other Pure Pwnage guys accomplished a lot and they deserve more credit/respect than that. And I'd bet their reach is still much larger than this channel.

ok, apparently one thing isn't coming across most of the time between Pay 2 Win an Pay 2 Progress... P2W implys that there are there is something to win, which implies that there are people that lose. So someone please correct me at the point where I go wrong here. For example: (P2P)Pay 2 Progress would be: "Do whatever in xyz time and get this special thing and you can buy it to not do the quests or speed up the progress" (P2W)Pay 2 Win would be "Do whatever in xyz time and get this special thing of witch there are only 1000 entities and you can buy it to not do the quests or speed up the progress" So even tho you pay for progress in the P2W one, not doing it would lead to probably missing out on it while the P2P would only save you time, you are still able to get the Item during the event regardless of what other people do. Thats why there is a big difference between P2W and P2P. Do I lose something or have a worse experience by another player using real life money? If the answer is yes, then it is P2W if not then its P2P. And dont get me wrong Pay 2 Progess can also be bad, but the important difference is that another person didnt have a worse time because that purchase was made by someone else. Edit: Paying for something that you can't get without playing is obviously a different thing, this is about Pay 2 Progress, and if i cant get it through Progress then its irrellevant for the discussion regardless of if it has an impact on what I do or what I would consider winning

I can't stand clickbait thumbnails and titles, if I see a clickbait title or a thumbnail that has a red circle, an arrow, an open mouth face, or some other kind of thing that screams "clickbait", I make a mental note to NOT click on the video, because I know it's going to be poorly produced, using annoying effects to cover up the fact 99% of the video is fluff (sound effects, changing the audio pitch of random words and doing photobooth on their face to be "funny"), and burying the lede somewhere between 75% and 90% of the way into the video. That said, I do think there's a huge difference between clickable and clickbait. However, people that defend clickbait because it gets more views should ask themselves, how many of those viewers stick around past 30 seconds or just skip to the "good part" that someone highlighted in the comment section? If I see a clickbait video in my homepage, I select "not interested in this video".

No it would not stabilize the market... the whole point of this is that the server does not gather/craft. This is still going on to this day. I've been doing this for years, capitalizing on people's laziness. Doesn't matter how "impressive" it is. It's a way to capitalize on markets with simple economics. I believe he's just showing how dumb and lazy mmo players are. I made 17mil in 4 hours (wait time) for about an hours worth of "work" I'm open to your suggestions of how to make that amount in the same 6 hour total. Also it's not necessarily about "what are you gonna do with all that gil?" Playing the market is just fun for some people, implementing real world techniques to test out in game. if it's not for you that is understandable.
